Terry McKenney Person graduated from Michigan State University (B.A. magna cum laude 1980) and Washington and Lee University School of Law, Lexington, Virginia (J.D.1983); Burk’s Scholar; Phi Alpha Delta. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1983, the same year she became associated with the McGinty law firm. She currently specializes in Estate Planning.
Ms. Person’s legal experience includes: Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing, Thomas M. Cooley Law School 1985 to 1990; Lecturer on Estate Planning and Probate; State Bar of Michigan Character and Fitness Committee (1987 to 1999).
Ms. Person is a member of the Ingham County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan (Member, Estate Planning Section and Master Lawyers Section) and is involved with various community boards of directors including The Hospice of Lansing, Inc, MSU Arts & Letters, and the MSU Alumni Band.
